Oneplus 7T And 7T Pro Are Gearing Up For A September Launch

Barely a few months after the OnePlus 7 and the all-new OnePlus 7 Pro were announced, we have already started to hear murmurs about the launch of their successors. According to a new leak, the OnePlus 7T and the OnePlus 7T Pro are now being expected to launch as early as September 26 this year.

According to the leaker, India will, in fact, be the first market to witness the launch of these new devices globally. The phone will then eventually hit U.S and European markets on 10thOctober. Considering how much the brand has proliferated in India, a special treatment to its burgeoning Indian fanbase makes sense.

But according to other famed leakster, the OnePlus TV is also expected to be launched between September 25 and September 30, with September 26 being the most probable date. If that’s true, we might see OnePlus launch both their smartphone devices and the new TV on the same day. Either way, the launch of the phones will come shortly after Apple’s and Huawei’s rumoured announcement dates of the iPhone 11 and Huawei Mate 30 respectively, two of the most anticipated phones of the year.
At the moment, we don’t have any information on what these new devices will bring to the table but a processor upgrade can be expected at the least. The new phones will most likely sport the recently unveiled Snapdragon 855+ SoC that has a higher clock speed than the 855. Its GPU too gets a 15% boost to cater to the growing smartphone gaming market. Apart from the above changes, expect slightly-improved cameras and some overall refinements to the hardware. In terms of software, they’ll most-definitely launch with Android Q out of the box with some possible improvements to OxygenOS.
