Redmi Note 8 To Feature Bigger Battery, Bigger Screen, And Better Camera Than Redmi Note 7

Redmi entered 2019 with a bang as it launched its Redmi Note 7 series and now the news of Redmi working on Redmi Note 8 has recently surfaced. The news of Redmi Note 8 was earlier confirmed by the General Manager Lu Weibing as he shared the details and specs surrounding Redmi Note 8 in a post on Weibo, a popular Chinese microblogging site. In fact, Weibing used the Note 8 to share a post on Weibo which has a “from Note 8 Android” subtext below his username.

As per the details shared by Weibing, Redmi Note 8 will come with much-upgraded mobile cameras, much bigger screen, a longer battery life, and a bigger screen-to-body ratio in comparison to the Redmi Note 7 series. He also mentioned that the “hand-feel” of Redmi Note 8 will be much better as compared to the Redmi Note 7 series. Speaking of Redmi Note 7 series, the Redmi Note 7 Pro features a 6.3 inches display screen and houses a 48MP + 5MP dual primary camera setup on the back. This has made people question if the Redmi 64MP camera phone, the teaser video of which Weibing released last week, is actually indeed the Redmi Note 8. The phone that has currently been under development for a while will feature a quad rear camera comprising of a 64-megapixel sensor. However, Redmi is yet to confirm if the 64MP camera phone is the Redmi Note 8.
As first reported by India Today, a Weibo user inquired if the upcoming Redmi Note 8 will launch alongside the 70-inch Redmi TV on August 29 to which Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun responded with a 'thumbs up'. So, there is a possibility that the phone might launch alongside the Redmi TV on August 29 in China. No details surrounding the Redmi Note 8 launch in India have been revealed so far. Live pictures of what Redmi Note 8 might look like have also been leaked by a popular tipster Slashleaks which reveals several details about the phone including that it’ll have a USB Type C, a glass body, and a quad-camera setup on the back.
Not many other details have been revealed so far regarding Redmi Note 8, and we can only wait for the official announcement to see what all features the phone will actually include.
