Realme Buds Air launched in India with wireless charging case, Here is more details


Realme Buds Air is now official in India. The company launched its first true-wireless earphones during the Realme X2 launch event in New Delhi. Realme Buds Air shares its design with the Apple AirPods with an R-shaped body with a stem. The earphones come with a charging case and support smart connectivity options powered by a new R1 chipset. The charging case also supports wireless charging and Realme has announced a new wireless charging pad that will be available soon. Realme Buds Air comes equipped with Google Assistant support for Android phones and Siri for iOS for hands-free communication and touch controls. The earphones also sport Google fast pair.

Realme Buds Air price in India and first sale date

The Realme Buds Air price in India is set at Rs 3,999. The earphones come in three color options: white, yellow, and black, and will be available on sale in the country from December 23rd. Interested buyers can head to Flipkart and realme.com for the Realme Buds Air Hate-to-Wait sale that begins at 2PM today.

The Realme Buds Air sports an in-ear design with a long stem that hangs from the ear when a user wears them. The earbuds also feature touch control options such as double-tap to pause/ play, triple tap for next song, long touch for Assistant and Siri, and rejecting calls. The pair also comes with wear detection that pauses the music when they’re removed and resumes when you put them back on ears. The Realme Buds Air’s charging case is compact enough to slip into your watch pocket. The case supports wired (Type-C) as well as wireless charging, and just like AirPods, sports LED light and pairing button.

As for the battery, the Realme Buds are rated to last up to 21 hours, with the case holding the juice for the next 17 hours on a single charge. The case takes one-and-half hours over Type-C to recharge. The buds are IPX2 sweatproof and ship with Bluetooth v 5.2 for wireless connectivity. The audio accessory also touts Custom R1 chip, 12mm Mater Tuned drivers, and dual-mic noise cancellation to filter ambient noise during voice calls. The pair even pack Gaming mode – can be activated by pressing both the earbuds – to reduces latency to the lowest industry standard at around 120ms.
