Samsung Galaxy A Series 2020 Teased

First Phone Will Launch On December 12

The Samsung Galaxy A51 has been leaked in the form of renders before. The renders showed the phone to have a hole-punch camera with a placement akin to that of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10. The bezels of the phone also seem to be rather minimal.

The phone is expected to sport a triple-camera set up in a rectangular camera module, similar to what we’ve seen on the Samsung Galaxy M30s. According to speculations, this module will consist of a 48MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 12MP telephoto sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor. The front shooter is expected to be a 32MP sensor.

The display, with the hole-punch cutout, is expected to measure 6.5-inches and given Samsung’s history, will likely be a Super AMOLED panel. Under the hood, the Samsung Exynos 9611 SoC will be powering the phone coupled with at least 4GB of RAM. Unlike the Samsung Galaxy Note 10, the Galaxy A51 is expected to retain a 3.5mm headphone jack along with a USB Type-C port. The phone will run on Android 10 out of the box with One UI 2.0 on top.

Samsung has a lot more phones lined up in the Galaxy A 2020 series but they’ll most likely get unveiled next year.
