What to expect from iPhone 12

The upcoming iPhone is rumored to have a slew of new features including 3D depth-sensing in rear cameras, new screen sizes as well as 5G connectivity, as reported by CNET. Let’s have a look at the rumored features and leaks surrounding the iPhone 12.

As per the rumors, Apple might introduce new screen sizes including a 5.4-inch screen iPhone 12s, and a 6.7-inches iPhone 2020 Pro Max. iPhone’s 12 display might also feature a 120Hz refresh rate which is quite high as compared to the existing phones in the market. We’ve already seen front-facing cameras with 3D depth-sensing in iPhone X, however, rumor has it that Apple might introduce the 3D depth sensing feature for its rear cameras.

Apart from that, there are also speculations that Apple might launch a total of five new phones this year. JPMorgan analyst, Samik Chatterjee, revealed in December 2019 that Apple might launch four new iPhone 12 models including a 5.4-inch model, two 6.1-inch phones and a 6.7-inch phone. If you’re wondering what’s going to be the fifth phone then it’s the iPhone SE2, a sequel to iPhone SE, Apple’s more affordable version of an iPhone. iPhone SE2 is rumored to look a lot like iPhone 8 and it’s going to be launched soon in March 2020. There are also rumors that iPhone SE2 would be renamed as iPhone 9 as reported by a Japanese blog Mac Otakara.

There have also been supplied chain rumors reported by DigiTimes that state there’s going to be two versions of the iPhone SE 2. One, a larger version of the iPhone with a screen size of 6.1 inches that might launch towards the end of 2020, probably alongside the launch of the iPhone 12 line-up. Apple analyst Kuo also predicted that the company will unveil three 5G phones in 2020, however, that’s unlikely to happen.
