Samsung debuts two new Power Banks capable of 25W charging and A 45W Car charger

Having unveiled three new flagship smartphones and a flip phone earlier this week, Samsung's now introduced two new power banks capable of delivering 25W worth output and a new car charger capable of delivering a full 45W of power.

While these three new products weren't unveiled at the 'Unpacked' event earlier this week, Samsung claims that these are meant to accompany the Galaxy S20 flagships and the Galaxy Z Flip. Though we can't quite spot them on Samsung India's e-store just yet (understandably), all of these new accessories have now been listed on the Korean giant's global website.

As far as the power banks go, both the new power banks have 10,000mAh capacities, though they aren't quite the same. Let me explain.

The first power bank actually packs in a Qi charging pad, for wireless charging. You can take advantage of 7.5W wireless charging speeds with this power bank, while it offers 25W charging via its Type-C ports — which it has two of, by the way.

This power bank also includes five LED lights which signalize what's the charge status of the internal battery. A single physical button is placed next to those indicators. This one's priced at $80 (approximately INR 5,700).

The second power bank does not support wireless charging. It does come with a USB-A port, instead of two USB-C ports. You can still take advantage of 25W charging here, though.

The company's new car charger offers 45W charging and comes with both a Type-C USB port and a USB-A port. Do note that only the Type-C port can offer 45W charging, the USB-A port is limited to 15W charging.

It's worth noting that only the Galaxy S20 Ultra and the Galaxy Note10+ support 45W charging, while others top off at 25W.
